In light of the current coronavirus crisis, First Presbyterian Church will celebrate Holy Week in 2020 in new ways at home and online:

  • Maundy Thursday - April 9.

    • A guide for celebrating Maundy Thursday at home will be emailed to members and friends of our church during Holy Week. Please contact our Administrative Assistant to be added to the list to receive that email.

  • Good Friday Prayer Vigil - 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. - April 10.

    • Scripture says that while Jesus was on the cross, "From noon on, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon" (Matthew 27:45-46). We will mark this time of darkness with a silent prayer vigil. You may download a prayer guide here which includes suggested prayers, Scriptures to read, and artwork to meditate on.

  • Good Friday Video Service  - April 10.

    • Pastor Chris has submitted a video reflection which will be included in a "Seven Last Words of Jesus" service compiled by a group of pastors in Loveland. To watch, go to the Trinity United Methodist Church YouTube page anytime after 5:00 p.m. on Good Friday.

  • Easter Sunrise Service - Approximately 6:15 a.m. - April 12.

    • As with Maundy Thursday, a guide for celebrating Easter Sunrise at home will be emailed to members and friends of our church during Holy Week. Please contact our Administrative Assistant to be added to the list to receive that email.

  • Easter Celebration Service - 10:00 a.m. - April 12.
