First Presbyterian Church will celebrate Advent in 2019 with several opportunities to worship and serve.

All services will take place in our sanctuary at 531 8th St. in Berthoud:

  • Caroling in the Park - Following Christmas Parade - December 14

    • After the Berthoud Christmas Parade, join us in Fickel Park for some caroling and shared Christmas celebration. The parade starts at 5:00 p.m.

  • Christmas Cantata - 10:00 a.m - December 15

    • Join us as we worship in song with our choir presenting Pepper Choplin's "Night of the Father's Love, The Awe and Mystery of God with Us." Nursery care will be available during the service, however Children's Church programming will not be available so that children and volunteers may enjoy the cantata.

  • Great Cookie Project / Chili Lunch - Following Worship - December 15

    • Each year we deliver cookies and sing Christmas carols to our homebound members and others in need in Berthoud. Following worship on December 15, we will gather in the Fellowship Hall to assemble plates of cookies for delivery and enjoy a chili lunch provided by the Deacons. Once the plates are prepared and we've all eaten lunch, we will break into groups to deliver the cookies and sing carols.

  • Christmas Eve Candlelight Service - 6:00 p.m. - December 24

    • Join us for a traditional candlelight Christmas Eve service at 6:00 p.m. on December 24 as we celebrate that "Christ the Savior is born!"
