First Presbyterian Church

To nurture children and their families in faith, our congregation offers a Children's Church program which complements our regular Sunday services.

Elementary school-aged children join their grown-ups for the first part of the service, then may leave before the sermon to go with other children and our teachers to a separate time of child-friendly Bible lessons using resources from Illustrated Children's Ministry. Children then rejoin their parents for the closing song of the service. On weeks when the Lord's Supper is celebrated, children may rejoin their families for communion.

We care about the safety of children, so we ensure that all teachers and volunteers have passed background checks.
